How To Leverage Your Opportunities

Introduction

Ask yourself this one question, How Can I Leverage My Opportunities?

So we have just arrived in Spain to attend the Infusionsoft Certified Partner European Conference.

We’re driving up the H7, up to Information Street, to see Mark and his team, from Alicante Airport.

I’ve got a couple of things on my mind I’ve been working on the plane on the way over.

It relates to how we collaborate, to open up new business opportunities and maybe work closer with what you could potentially see as competitors.

Now, the point I’m trying to get across here is, everybody’s got competition and I think you approach it in two different ways.

There are the people who keep people at arm’s length and there are the people who sort of respect and understand.

The reason being is there is over 40 Infusionsoft Certified Partners in consult attending this conference in Javier this week, and you could argue that it could be hostile. How do you get on with the competition?

Work Together

I mean obviously we’re based in East Yorkshire and from the UK there are probably a dozen or a dozen and a half partners plus, attending.

But the great thing about the Infusionsoft community is the collaboration.

So even though we might be in the same space, and potentially you could argue are we competitors or not?

The community just pulls together, they all know their strengths, whether that’s E-Commerce or membership sites, or funnel building or whatever else it might be.

We work together and help each other in a collaborative way.

Collaboration Could Be The Key

So what I want to challenge you today is, have a look around at your competitors, do you even have a competitor analysis, and is there any gaps that you don’t do?

Is there a service you don’t offer, where you could collaborate with what you currently potentially see as a competitor.

Open up a new market, start working together.

There are lots of business, a bit of a big shout out to Alasdair McWilliam, on this video, purely for simply, you know Alasdair’s in the same space as we are, he works for his own success on various projects and he’s just really helped us craft one of them.

I believe it will be one of the leading membership sites, with MAC: Barium.

We couldn’t have done that without Al, so big thanks to Al.

So even though he’s initially seen as a competitor in that same space, the bottom line is, we’ve worked together, we’ve built a solution together, we’ve ended up working together, sharing ideas, helping each other out.

So go and have a look around.

  • Find out what your customers are wanting
  • Find out what you can’t do and is there a competitor that you can align yourself to
  • Find out where you could work together for mutual benefit.

So check that out and if you want to drop us a post below, let us know how you’ve got on.

Hopefully, you can get some extra business out of it, and we’ll catch up with you soon with some more reports while we’re out here in Spain, on the Infusionsoft, European conference.
